Childhood friend of Kamui and sister of Fuma, Kotori is a high school girl with a heart of gold. She has simple hopes and desires, wishing for a pleasant future. Her past is marred with tragedy, including the mysterious and bloody death of her mother six years ago.

Sweet, innocent Kotori is a character of great compassion and conviction. She is optimistic despite all that has transpired in her life. Surprisingly, she is not afraid to be opinionated, letting others know exactly what she is thinking. Although strong in spirit, her body is physically feeble.

Kotori has dreams of the future, almost like those of a dreamgazer.

Princess Hinoto is the great prophet, a dreamgazer hidden away beneath the halls of the Japanese Diet. Her ability to foresee the future has been a great asset to many a politician. It is she who foresees the Judgement Day, the inevitable clash between the Dragons of the Heavens and the Dragons of the Earth. She is determined to awake the Kamui of the Dragon of the Heavens, the sole savior of the world. Her sister is Kanoe.

Though ancient, Hinoto has the appearance of an adolescent girl, quite small in stature. She is physically paralyzed, blind, deaf, and unable to speak. Yet she has the ability to communicate telepathically, through thoughts and dreams. She has a delicate, formal air about her.

Hinoto has the ability to foresee the future through her dreams as a dreamgazer. She can also summon creatures and spirits, as well as creating magical barriers.

Sister to Hinoto, Kanoe acts as the foil to the prim and proper princess. A government secretary by day, she concerns herself with the fate of the world by night. She is determined to cleanse the world, to see the Kamui of the Dragon of the Earth destroy the world to bring rebirth the tainted, polluted planet. That is her interpretation of Hinoto's prophetic dream.

Kanoe is a sultry and sensual woman whose appearance hides her true age. She is vengeful and scheming, dark and sinister. Fond of toying around with people, she is never truly open and honest.

Not a dreamgazer herself, Kanoe still has the ability to enter into the dreams of others. Through her own eyes, she views what others dream in a new prespective.

Daisuke is a fiercely loyal protectorate of Princess Hinoto, in servitude for eight years. He is also the nephew of Aoki Seiichiro, who acted as a mentor to Daisuke during his childhood.

Because of his deep loyalty and overprotective nature, Daisuke is often suspicious of outsiders. He is extremely patient and self-sacrificing.

Daisuke is a wind-caster, controlling and manipulating the currents of the winds.

Hokuto is the beloved sister of Subaru and friend to Seishiro.  Killed by the hand of Seishiro years ago, she placed a final spell onto her murderer.  Whenever he should strike a fatal blow upon Subaru, the force of the action will be returned on himself.  She hopes this enchantment will save the lives of these two men dear to her life.

Although deceased, she continues to communicate with the living through the unconsciousness.  She is optimistic, jovial, and caring, qualities that inspire those even in their slumber.

Kyougo is a tragic figure of the Togakushi clan, fated to play a central role in the end of days.  His wife married into his family, knowing well that her life was to end shortly.  Six years ago in a terrifying and bloody fashion, she died, giving birth to the Holy Sword.  Kyougo has taken the charge to protect the sacred sword until the day the Kamui of the Dragon of Heaven is prepared to wield its horrible power. 

Tokiko is the sister to Kamui's mother, knower of information shielded from him as a child.  Her sister was fated as a kagenie and died for son's sake six months ago.  Tokiko has worked behind the scenes, preparing for the events leading to Kamui's awakening.  She too is destined to play the family trade of the Magami clan.
