Shiro Kamui |

The protagonist of the series, Kamui is the characteristic anti-hero. Entrusted with the fate of the world, this sixteen-year old high school student loathes his burden, seemingly unconcerned with the very future of mankind. Six months since the fiery death of his mother, he heads towards Tokyo, finally ready to meet his challenges and face his destiny.
Kamui is initially self-absorbed and emotionally distant, without regard for the people and places around him. This change in personality bears a sharp contrast to his childhood days, when he vows to protect and cherish his beloved friends Kotori and Fuma. Eventually, he learns to accept the trust and friendship of his fellow teammates.
Kamui possesses great powers and a variety of special abilities. Incredible strength, powerful exertions of mystical energies, and finesse in combat are some among many of his skills.
 
Arisugawa Sorata |

Fun-loving and wise cracking, Sorata is the comedian of the group. As a young child, he was given up by his parents and adopted into a Buddhist temple, where he has been raised as a monk in training.
Sorata loves food, girls and the sound of his own voice. Although usually playful and carefree, he is quite capable of behaving seriously and maturely in times of distress, motivating and inspiring his friends. A capable leader himself, Sorata works well with others in battle and in conversation.
Sorata commands the forces of electricity, usually used in combat in the form of projectiles. He can also summon his own spirit into the ghastly guardian beast Gohodoujin.
 
Kishu Arashi |

A natural leader, Arashi serves as the beacon of rational thought and careful action. Bearing a painful childhood, she has since become Shinto priestess at the shrine in Ise, dedicated to the Sun Goddess Amaterasu.
Stern and stoic, Arashi expresses herself though actions rather than words. Emotionally distant, she avoids close relationships as a defense mechanism against the potential pain and suffering that friendship and love may bring.
Arashi can summon a mighty sword from her palm and wield it with deadly grace and accuracy.
 
Nekoi Yuzuriha |

The bubbly and effervescent Yuzuriha embodies the genuine concern for humanity and the optimistic hope for the future. Hailing from a clan that worships the wolf spirit, she enjoys the companionship of her very spirit dog Inuki, visible only to herself. The fact that almost no one else can see Inuki continues to trouble her to this very day.
The youngest member of the Seven Seals, Yuzuriha is cheery and optimistic, with great empathy and the ability to to make the best of any situation. Her weaknesses include ice cream and Pocky.
Yuzuriha can harness the ablilities of Inuki, transforming him into a sword or flying spirit, among other forms. Inuki also serves as Yuzuriha's sixth sense and acts as a semi-autonomous guardian.
 
Sumeragi Subaru |

Subaru is an enigma, a man with a mysterious past and frightening abilities. After the murder of his beloved sister, he becomes depressed, often spending his days in a state of catatonia. A member of the famed Sumeragi clan, he has a history preceding his role in this series.
Subaru suffers from depression and struggles with conflicting feelings for his sister's killer, a man he both loves and despises. Despite his penchant for sitting around, he has a truly helpful personality and selflessly aids his friends.
A conjurer with the powers of omnyoujitsu, Subaru possess the power of yang. He can summon and dispel creatures and illusions, as well as create mystical barriers.
 
Kasumi Karen |

Karen represents the selfless nature of humanity and the self- sacrifice necessary to protect the world. Raised in a devout Christian household, she is rejected by her mother because of her supernatural powers. Deeply religious herself, she contradictorily works in the soaplands of the red-light district.
Although Karen deeply loves and cares for the people that surround her, she neither loves nor cares for herself. She considers her only friend to be Paul, her childhood teddy bear.
Karen is a fire-caster, possessing the ability to create blazing infernos of enormous magnitude.
 
Aoki Seiichiro |

As a devoted husband and father, Seiichiro is the responsible, mature member of the group. An editor by trade, he represents the model citizen, hardworking and loyal in both the company and at home.
Seiichiro is well-liked and well-respected by everyone. He does have an air of innocence, becoming easily flustered in particular uncomfortable situations.
Hailing from the Wind-Caster clan, Seiichiro commands the elements of air.
